The taste-free silicone ball is a huge plus for me—no weird plastic smell once it's in place. We pulled it out for a "quiet game" night and the fit felt secure without being too bulky. Exactly what we needed.
The bonded leather straps are soft but sturdy, and the buckle lets me adjust the fit perfectly without slipping. The silicone ball sits comfortably in my mouth for longer sessions.
The silicone insert really is tasteless, which I was skeptical about, but the bonded leather straps feel sturdy without digging in. Kept it on comfortably for over an hour, and cleanup was just warm water and soap.
